This Grade II listed church is located in the heart of the City of London, just behind the Bank of England.

The brief was to create disabled access to the church, by turning an existing window into a ramped doorway to allow for wheelchairs.
Architectural details were lifted from the original design of the church for use in the creation of this new approach.

The level of the existing courtyard had to be raised; a new drainage system was introduced for the rest of the courtyard paving with falls created running away from the building; a threshold stone was fitted to create water run-off, but at the same time to allow for an even surface suitable for wheelchairs.

The result is in keeping with the original character of the architecture of this church.
