Stone cladding at Clapham Common
The Southside exit at Clapham Common station, originally clad in porcelain tiles, required significant restoration. Following the application of a Sika 1 tanking system, London Stone Conservation was commissioned to replace the existing exterior cladding with a durable and aesthetically pleasing Portland stone system.
This project exemplifies our commitment to:
- Heritage Preservation: Maintaining the station’s architectural integrity while addressing modern building needs.
- Building Conservation: Implementing sustainable and long-lasting solutions for historic structures.
- Expert Stone Cladding: Designing and installing high-quality stone cladding systems that enhance both functionality and visual appeal.
Working closely with the Local Authority and other stakeholders, we successfully delivered a project that met the highest standards of heritage preservation and building conservation
