The Hadley Green Fountain was erected by the duck pond at the boundary of Hadley green and Barnet Hight Street on 8th August 1885 by a local benefactor Miss Ann Paget. After being out of order for 50 years, London Stone Conservation completed restoration to make it completely functional.

This project was funded by Heritage of London Trust(HOLT) and Barnet Council to carry out the end-to-end project. This included careful dismantling, carrying out a full conservation, reassembling, reinstallation.

Hadley Green Drinking Fountain is constructed from Aberdeenshire Red Petershead Granite, it is set on a pink granite octagonal plinth. This is a decorative drinking fountain with four bell shaped bowls and a bowl at the base for domestic animals. The inscription says ‘1885’ and the top is in a decorative bell shape.
